Nestled in the picturesque West Berkshire village of Compton less than 3 miles from the A34, The Swan offers a great place to base yourself. The explorers among you have already benefited from using the Swan as a place to cycle the King Alfred Way, ramble over the Ridgeway and river cruise on The Thames.

Those of you who enjoy the Arts have used us as a base to visit The Watermill Theatre in Newbury, a host of theatres and galleries in Oxford, and the Arlington Arts Centre In Newbury
